Together for Ukraine
It’s our responsibility

The s.Oliver Group is taking responsibility for its fellow human beings. Working closely with the Würzburg District Office and local aid organisations, we are supporting refugees arriving from the Ukrainian war zone. We have created an initial reception centre at our corporate headquarters.

How are we providing support?

With the help of aid organisations, an internal team of employees has prepared accommodation for up to 175 refugees in our company buildings. Here, with the help of the German charity Ruricher Hilfswerk, we are welcoming people from Ukraine. The accommodation facilities can house families with privacy. Medical care is provided by the s.Oliver Health Centre, and the company restaurant is providing meals. Employees of the s.Oliver Group are also making an active contribution: They are donating hygiene kits for the refugees to provide them with the most basic necessities when they first arrive, or helping to translate using their language skills.

How we are helping on the ground

It is important to us as a company to show solidarity and support people in their plight. The aim is to combine strengths and skills and to provide clothing, bandages, food and drinking water for children in the war zone. As such, the s.Oliver Group has become involved in a humanitarian transport for children in Ukraine organised by Deutsche Kindertafel e.V. Together with #WeAreAllUkrainians, the initiative of Dr. Wladimir Klitschko and Tatjana Kiel, CEO of Klitschko Ventures, we are supporting the people of Kyiv with a donation of 18,000 items of autumn/winter clothing for men, women and children. They will benefit those who have had to leave their homes or have lost their belongings. Together with many more aid supplies, the items will be brought to Ukraine via the DB aid convoy and distributed there as needed.
